February 2007 Points To Buoyant Spring Ahead  

Sales of 2,859 properties, off slightly from February 2006 sales of 2,941 units. The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver reported total residential sales of 2,859 units for combined detached, attached and apartment properties.  This represents a decrease of 2.8% from February 2006 unit sales, and a decrease of 6.8% from February 2005.

New listings for all property types decreased by 4% to 4,167 units compared with the 4,340 units listed in February 2006.  The total number of active listings reached 9,670 units.  1,904 units, or 24% more than in February 2006.
